As Children’s Hospital nears its 80th year, we're beginning the next chapter with the opening of a new, larger facility! The New Children’s Hospital has all private patient rooms, the latest medical equipment in a modern environment and still operates as the state’s only hospital solely dedicated to the treatment of children.

- Inpatient units: hematology/oncology, medicine, neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, stem cell transplant, surgical – All New!
- Catheterization labs – New!
- Dialysis unit – New!
- Emergency department – New & Expanded!

*Some Radiology services will remain in the original building to support OU Children's Physicians offices.
OU Children’s Physicians offices (Kids Care areas), located in the original Children’s Hospital, will remain in their current locations. Signs will rename this building as the OU Children’s Physicians building. Although our new facility is opening, please be aware that construction will continue for ongoing projects on our campus.
